Yogyakarta – PT Miconos is the first manufacturer of microscopes and electromedical devices in Indonesia. Therefore, we always strive to strengthen our collaboration with various educational institutions. Furthermore, PT Miconos warmly welcomed the Cooperation Team Nahdlatul Ulama University of Yogyakarta (UNU Jogja)This courtesy visit took place on August 7 at our headquarters.
It All Started with a Student Internship Program
A good relationship with UNU Jogja certainly didn’t happen overnight. Initially, this collaboration began with the university’s student internship program. Computer Engineering students from UNU Jogja were placed directly at PT Miconos.
During their internship, the students gained hands-on experience in the industry. They applied their knowledge to the manufacturing process of electromedical devices. In addition, the students demonstrated excellent performance. As a result, an initiative emerged to establish a more formal partnership.
Legalizing Partnerships and Expanding Collaboration
Ms. Ani and her team represented UNU Jogja during this industry visit. Their goal was to build on the success of the internship program. Furthermore, the meeting addressed the formal legalization of documents. An official partnership between the university and the company will be established shortly.
However, this meeting was not merely an administrative formality. The event also served as a forum for highly productive discussions. In fact, both parties were able to explore the potential for broader collaboration. Furthermore, this partnership will accelerate efforts to enhance human resource competencies.
