Makassar, June 9, 2026—As part of its efforts to support the increased use of domestically produced medical devices, PT Miconos participated in an exhibition and business matching event held in Makassar recently. PT Miconos showcased microscopes and microscope cameras certified under the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) program.
The Optilab Iris 4 Trinocular Microscope by PT Miconos is a solution for domestic microscope and microscope camera needs, supporting research and observation in laboratories, clinics, hospitals, and educational institutions.
As a domestic manufacturer, PT Miconos remains committed to supporting the production of medical devices in Indonesia. In addition to manufacturing microscopes and microscope cameras, PT Miconos plans to develop other medical devices.
This exhibition and business matching event was organized by the Directorate of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Security of the Indonesian Ministry of Health in collaboration with the South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office, BPAFK Makassar, the Indonesian Medical Device Manufacturers Association (ASPAKI), the Association of Medical Device and Laboratories (GAKESLAB), and the Indonesian Medical Devices Ecosystem Development Association (HIPELKI). Domestic medical device suppliers met with 56 hospital units and government health agencies at the Four Points by Sheraton.
It is hoped that this initiative will further increase the use of domestically produced medical devices, thereby supporting domestic needs, and that it can be implemented in all cities across Indonesia. ***
